Video Vision Reporter
Video Vision Reporter is an additional reporting environment for Video
Vision Plus which provides a powerful set of reports which give you in-depth
insight, allow you to drive revenue, and give enhanced control of your
business. A number of reports employ a drill-down format, allowing you
to view information at a high level and then focus in on more specific
information as required. Other reports use graphical illustrations to
present the key information at a glance. In addition to all the standard
reports found in Video Vision Plus this module includes the reports below
and more - a number of reports may be exported to Excel for your own extended
analysis if required.
- Custom Report Designer - Video Vision
Reporter allows you to create up to six custom reports for Rental
Items or Customers flexibly displaying the information of your
choice from that stored in your Video Vision Plus database.
- Rental Item Utilization -
A set of two reports which allow full analysis of the utilization
of individual copies of rental items. Presented is the purchase
date, number of rentals, days available for rental, days out,
and the key measure - utilization expressed as a percentage of
the days available for rental the item was actually out. This
report is extremely valuable for highlighting items that can be
sold off. The report can be displayed for a selected date range
or for all time.
- Rental Title Utilization - A set
of two reports which are complementary to the Rental Item Utilization
reports - these reports are grouped at the title level rather
than the item level and allow full analysis of the utilization
of rental titles at the aggregated level. Presented is the purchase
date, number of rentals, days available for rental, days out,
and the key measure - utilization expressed as a percentage of
the days available for rental the title was actually out. This
report is extremely valuable for highlighting titles for which
there is a high demand and for which purchase of extra copies
may be beneficial.
- Rental Category Performance - This
report provides an analysis of not only which categories are driving
revenue in your business, but also a summary of the utilization
of all the items in each category. Presented is the number of
copies, number of rentals, total days available for rental, total
days out, revenue generated, and the key measure - utilization
expressed as a percentage of the days available for rental the
items were actually out. The report is available for a selectable
date range.
- All Time Best Customers - A powerful report highlighting your most valuable customers since creation of your database.
All customers are presented along with the total rentals made,
total spend on rentals, total spend on purchases, and overall
total spend.
- Customer Purchase-Rental Ratios
- An insightful look at customers total spend on products against
spend on rentals. This report could be used as the driving force
behind a promotional campaign designed to promote spending on
peripheral items such as popcorn and sodas.
- Best 100 All Round Customers (Specific Date
Range) - A powerful report highlighting your most valuable
customers (both rentals and sales) for a given date range. The
top 100 spending customers are presented in the same format as
the all time best customers report.
- Best 100 Rental Customers (Specific Date
Range) - A powerful report highlighting your most valuable
rental customers for a given date range. The
top 100 customers (evaluated in terms of spend on rentals) are presented in the same format as
the all time best customers report.
- Best 100 Purchase Customers (Specific Date
Range) - A powerful report highlighting your most valuable
purchase customers for a given date range. The
top 100 customers based on spend on purchases are presented in the same format as
the all time best customers report.
- Full Customer Information
- The target of a number of drill downs, this report provides
full customer details for an individually selected customer. The
information presented includes total purchase revenue generated,
total rental revenue generated, account status, full rental and
purchase, and full personal information.
- Overdue Loans By Customer
- In addition to the standard overdue loans report, this report
lists all overdue videos conveniently ordered by customer. A drill
down is available to see the full details and rental history of
these customers.
- Rentals Due Today - All rentals due
that day sorted by customer and listed with customer address and
telephone number. A drill down is available to see the full customer
details.
- Returns Made - All returns made in
a given date range.
- Customers By Surname - An extra full
customer listing ordered by surname.
- Customers Who Have Rented... - After
selection of the title for which information is required, this
report presents a list of all customers who have rented a given
title.
- Inactive Customers- Reports all
customers who have their status set to inactive i.e. those with
their membership suspended.
- Customers Who Haven't Visited Since...
- Reports all customers who haven't visited the store since
a specified date.
- Customers With Expired Membership -
Reports all customers with membership fees payable.
- Suspended Customers - Customers
who have their status set to suspended.
- Cancelled Customers - Customers
who have their status set to cancelled.
- Customers With Expired Membership -
Reports all customers with membership fees payable.
- Customer Points Balances- Reports
customers Frequent Rental Points balances in a variety of formats.
- Customers With Accounts Owing Full Listing-
Shows all customers with accounts in debit with a full list of
the account items making up the balance.
- Unlimited Rental Renewals Due- All
customers with Unlimited Rental subscribtions due in a given month
listed by date due.
- Titles By Type- All or Active titles
of a given type - Video, DVD, Game or Other.
- Full Rental Title Listing
- A full listing of all rentals or all rentals of a given category.
The report provides full details for each title including film
board classification, actors, director, synopsis and can even
show a title's cover if a link to this has been added in the main
Video Vision Plus. An report export to pdf (portable document
format) is also provided allowing the report to be published.
This pdf file could be emailed as an attachment to a customer
mailing list - an impressive and attractive way to publicize your
new releases for instance (Video Vision Plus will shortly include
the facility do do this automatically).
- Top Ten Rentals
- Three formats for presentation of the top ten rentals for any
given date range are provided. These reports can be displayed
around the store to inform customers of what's popular and can
stimulate extra reservations of titles currently unavailable.
The formats range from a simple chart listing basic title details
to a full listing showing the title's cover and synopsis.
- Rental Items Added - All rental items
added during a selected date range.
- Rental Items In Category X- Reports
listing all rental items in a selected Rental Category.
- Profit On Sales - All sales of products
listed in the database for any given date range aggregated by
item. This report provides the perfect overview of profits generated
for any given date range, stating not only quantity sold but also
revenue and profit generated.
- Sales Summary
- All sales (listed products and adhoc sales) for any given date
range aggregated by item. This report provides an overview of
sales for any given date range, stating the quantity sold, the
revenue generated and the sales tax collected.
- Sales Summary by Stock Category -
All sales (listed products and ad hoc sales) for any given date
range aggregated by stick category. This report provides an snapshot
overview of sales for any given date range, stating the quantity
sold, the revenue generated and the sales tax collected.
- Stock below reorder level - All products
which have reached or are below their reorder level.
- Stock approaching reorder level -
All products which are within 10% or 25% or their reorder reorder
level - this report gives an early warning of the necessity to
place an order so that items approaching their reorder level may
be ordered along with items below their reorder level.
- Stock by Stock Category - All products
ordered by Stock Category providing a more convenient method of
viewing like products together.
- Rental and Sales Summaries by Payment Type
- Summary reports which show revenue by the payment method
- extremely useful for cash drawer reconciliation.
- Recreate Receipt - Any transaction
can be recalled and the basic receipt for that transaction recreated.
All four formats of Video Vision Plus receipts are supported and
on installing the reporting environment this function becomes
available as part of the main Video Vision Plus program.
- Transaction Listing
- A full listing of all store rental and sale transactions conveniently
ordered by the invoice number.
- Edited Transactions - This report
displays all the transactions in which the price or days rental
was manually altered at the time of transaction for any given
date range. The report lists the alterations and also the user
responsible and hence in conjunction with the three reports listed
next this provides the perfect mechanism for keeping track of
exceptions from standard practice.
- Voided Transactions - This report
displays all the transactions which have been voided. The report
lists the voided items and also the user responsible.
- Refunded Transactions - This report
displays all the items which have been refunded. The report lists
the refunded items and also the user responsible for the refund.
- Credits Given - This report displays
all the credits which were awarded to customers accounts for any
given date range. The report lists the alterations and also the
user responsible for the change.
- Unpaid Late Fees and Late Fees Applied
- These reports display any unpaid late fees which were applied
to customer accounts during any given date range that have not
as yet been paid or any late fees that were paid within a given
date range.
- FRP adjustments - This report displays
all the adjustments that were manually made to customer's frequent
rental point balances. The report lists the alterations and also
the user responsible for the adjustment.
- Rentals Given With FRP - This report
displays all the rentals which were given as a result of frequent
rental point redemptions providing the mechanism for monitoring
the success of this promotional effort.
- Products Given With FRP - This report
displays all the products which were given as a result of frequent
rental point redemptions providing the mechanism for monitoring
the success of this promotional effort.
- Rentals Using Promotions - This report
displays all the rentals which were made as part of a promotion
providing the mechanism for monitoring the success of the promotion.
- Sales Using Promotions - This report
displays all the products which were given as a result of a Combo
Promotion providing the mechanism for monitoring the success of
these promotions.
- Summary Revenue
- This report displays the summary revenue for any given period
and also displays this information as a pie chart for easy analysis
of areas which need attention and the areas which generate most
revenue.
- Store Activity By DOW
- This report displays a summary of activity in the store split
by day of week. The number of rentals, sales, returns, and other
transactions are displayed and illustrated graphically for quick
analysis. This report is valuable for not only staff requirements
planning but can help generate ideas for focusing promotional
effort on quieter days.
- Store Activity By Hour - This report
displays a summary of activity in the store split by time of day.
The number of rentals, sales, returns, and other transactions
are displayed and illustrated graphically for quick analysis.
This report is valuable for staff requirements planning.
- Mailing Labels - Video Vision Reporter
offers the ability to print mailing labels based on various criteria
including customers with accounts owing, customers who haven't
visited since, etc.
- And more!! - New reports are constantly
added to Video Vision Reporter and so this list is far from exhaustive.
