Video Vision Fingerprint Recognition Module

The Video Vision Fingerprint Recognition Module (Video Vision FRM) serves two main functions:

1. Customer verification - Video Vision FRM allows the a customer's fingerprint to be captured after being read from a fingerprint reader attached to your computer (please see the hardware page for hardware requirements). Upon completing a transaction Video Vision will prompt for the customer to verify their identity by reading their fingerprint and comparing it to that held in the customer's details. In addition to the main customer's fingerprint, fingerprints can also be stored for each individual authorized renter on a given customer account.

2. User login - Video Vision FRM allows your staff to quickly and easily login to Video Vision Plus by reading their fingerprint. After receiving the fingerprint read Video Vision searches the user fingerprint database to locate the user and upon successful recognition the user is logged into the program. This login method not only removes the need for users to remember their username/password combination but is also increases the speed of the login process.
